Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Kwezr application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Kwezr is an AI-powered study assistant that helps users learn more effectively by generating flashcards, quiz questions, and study summaries from uploaded documents and other study material. The App is available in free and premium subscription tiers.

3. Account Registration

To use Kwezr you must create an account using a valid email address or a supported social sign-in provider (Google or Apple). You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when registering.
• Keep your account credentials confidential.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use automated tools or scripts to access the App in an abusive or excessive manner.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems or other users' accounts.

5. Intellectual Property

The Kwezr name, logo, and all software, features, and content created by us are the exclusive property of Kwezr and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Content you upload to the App remains your property. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content solely to provide you with the App's study features. We do not claim ownership over your uploaded material.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Kwezr offers a free tier and a premium subscription. Premium subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store via RevenueCat. By subscribing, you agree to the billing terms presented at the time of purchase and to the terms of the respective store.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your App Store or Google Play account settings.

Refunds are governed by the App Store or Google Play refund policies and are not handled directly by Kwezr.

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. See our Privacy Policy — Section 7 for instructions on how to delete your account and all associated data.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms or applicable law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kwezr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
